A 70's music night was held at the New House Inn on Saturday 13 October 2007 (Fancy Dress Optional).
DJ Sting provided a superb compilation of late 60's and 70's music to an enthusiastic crowded pub.
A local Elvis Presley (Dave Smith) also played a part in entertaining the audience. The fancy dress aspect
was outstanding - virtually all turned up in fine regalia.
The main raffle prizes were drawn and awarded to the following:
- 1st Prize - Yamaha ERG 121 electric guitar (Local Taxi Man)
- 2nd Prize - 3 course meal for 2 (Huw Ceredig)
- 3rd Prize - Large bottle of whiskey (Local Taxi Man)
There were prizes for best fancy dress - these were awarded to the following:
- Bottle (Ozzie Ozbourne - Gary Rose)
- Bottle (Demise Roussos - Dai 'Cakes' Sawyer)
- Bottle (Steve Williams)
- Bottle (Ian Dobbins)

All proceeds from the raffle tickets sold for this 70's night at the New House Inn will be donated
to Bobath Wales (Cerebral Palsy).
